Week Four

Woof, hello.

This one is late! Very late. Well, a few days at least.

I got my wisdom teeth out! The procedure itself was pretty fine. I got IV sedated, because who wants to be awake for that, and then I woke up with gauze in my mouth! I do not remember being just-awake very well?

It reminds me of being at a concert with my partner. We both blacked out from drinking (oopsie), and walked back to our hotel. I remember the walk back to the hotel, fuzzily but remember nonetheless, but once we got inside I swear I can't remember getting back up to our room. But I didn't drink anymore! So I like, blacked out, came back, and then blacked back out?

Which is similar to awaking from anesthesia. I remember the dental assistant helping me get out of the chair they did the procedure in, a thought of "it would be soooo funny if I ran down this hall right now", and then I don't remember after that! (I did not run down the hall).

Apparently I asked the doctor if I could have some propofol? Which is gently amusing. It'd just be really nice to be able to go out like a light. "Oup, time for sleep!".

I'm on day five of recovery. I miss foods that aren't mashed potatoes and tomato soup. Oh my god do I ever. I'm getting a lovely spicy Italian sub the second I can. I lust for the yum-filled bread-tube.

I did a lot of Minecraft Playing during my oral-surgery-after. You can read my logs for my Minecraft 128 Quest over at mc128/quest.

I've beat every stronghold in the first two rings! Want to try to get ring 3 done in the next ~week. I'd love to one cycle the dragon, so I'll be trying that, too.

Also I'd love to not die as much. I die a lot, apparently. If I die less than 128 times by the end of this, I'll be happy.

I did not file my unemployment this week, nor did I commit four work search actions. I should have, yes, I know. I was in pain and probably mildly something from the pain meds.

Next week, next week. We will not fall off. We will not regress.

Yours,

Genevieve and Medley and Mercy of Inann
